Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between motor sensation and scoring accuracy among the players of the Mesopotamia football team. The researcher used the descriptive approach in the style of correlational relationships for its suitability and medical research. The research population consisted of players from the Mesopotamia club for the 2022/2023 sports season, as they were chosen intentionally as they were the sample. The subjects were (22) players, of whom (14) players were chosen to represent the research sample after excluding goalkeepers and defensive players. They represented a percentage of (63.63%) of the research population. Through the presentation and analysis of the results, the researcher concluded that the sample’s level of achievement in the sensory perception test Good motor skills, and the sample’s level of achievement in scoring accuracy was good. Through the conclusions reached by the researcher, he recommends the necessity of diversifying methods of training motor skills for football players, especially the junior stage, including basic football skills, and focusing on training basic football skills using modern methods. It is positively effective in developing the performance of the football scoring skill, and it is necessary for the researcher to research every football skill to identify the most effective method or approach in improving the skill performance.
