Abstract
The aim of the research is to prepare a variety of speed exercises in developing response speed and the skill of defending the stadium in volleyball, in addition to identifying the effect of various exercises with speed in developing the speed of response and the skill of defending the stadium in volleyball.
The researchers used the experimental method to suit the problem of the research, and the research community was chosen in a deliberate way, and they are the (16) players of the Hibhab Athletic Volleyball Club, divided into two equal groups, experimental and control.
After completing the main experiment and tests, the Spss program was used for statistical data processing to reach the results.
The researchers reached the most important conclusions, namely, that the exercises varied with speed achieved a positive effect in developing the speed of response among the members of the experimental group.
The researchers recommended the need for coaches to use a variety of exercises at speed to develop the speed of response and the skill of defending the field for all volleyball players.
