The role of strategic readiness in avoiding the organizational collapse of sports clubs in Diyala Governorate

The research included the introduction and its importance. The importance of the research lies in identifying the role of strategic readiness in reducing the organizational collapse of sports clubs, as readiness is considered one of the most important requirements that contemporary organizations need as it is the basic guiding tool for the superior performance of those institutions, which achieve the maximum degrees of excellence by innovating new models and methods through which the institution qualifies. Under any circumstances, which has a major role in reducing the organizational collapse of that institution. The research problem arises in the following question: Does strategic readiness have a role in avoiding the organizational collapse of sports clubs in Diyala Governorate? The research aims to apply the strategic readiness and organizational collapse questionnaires to the application sample to find the role of strategic readiness in avoiding organizational collapse. The strategic readiness questionnaire consists of (28) statements distributed over six areas (leadership, culture, strategic alignment, technology, organizational structure, human resources). (Appendix No. 1), as for the organizational collapse questionnaire, it consists of (25) statements distributed over five areas (internal elements, external elements, human elements, structural elements, financial elements), and each field has five statements. The areas of research included the human field on the administrative bodies in the sports clubs in Diyala Governorate, which number (18) clubs and each club has (9) members, where the total number of administrative bodies reached (162) members who formed the research community. As for the spatial field, it is represented by the sports clubs in Diyala Governorate, and the field The timeline extended from (1/5) to (1/9/2023) for the same year. The researcher used the descriptive approach using the survey method and correlational relationships to suit the nature of the problem. As for the research community, the workers in the sports clubs in Diyala Governorate represented (162). As for the exploratory sample, it was (12) members, with a percentage of (7.40%) from the community of origin. As for the application sample, it reached (80) members, with a percentage of (49.38%) from the community of origin. The researchers concluded that strategic readiness has an important role in reducing the organizational collapse of sports clubs in Diyala Governorate. As for the most important recommendations that the researchers recommend, it is the necessity of sports club heads to rely on applying sound planning based on a strategic vision to advance sports clubs to the ranks of advanced clubs to achieve the best achievements and to avoid Collapse .
