The varying educational techniques provide the teacher with an opportunity to choose the optimal one and the appropriate for the educational environment in order to be able to achieve the educational aims and develop the learner's capabilities. The researcher has studied the competitive and the fixed infographic techniques in learning some volleyball skills by preparing a single educational curriculum that is taught to learners using the two mentioned techniques.
The research sample consists of students in the second intermediate grade from the schools affiliated to the central district of Tikrit in Saladin Governorate. Two groups are adopted, both experimental.
After obtaining the results through pre-tests and post-tests and processing them statistically, it is found that both groups have learned the volleyball skills under study in a well manner via using the two techniques, but there is a preference in learning for the infographic technique. Therefore, the researcher recommends the need to use the infographic technique in educational units because of its effective role in learning basic skills.
