Since the game of tennis, like any game, has its basic principles that form the strong support on which it is based, and the evaluation of the level of any player and the extent of his success in the game depends to a large extent on the extent or degree of his mastery of these basic principles, so it is necessary to emphasize the methods and teaching methods that take into account the individual differences between learners in order to reach their abilities to the maximum level in performance in tennis, so the methods of proficiency learning and cooperative learning are among the best methods that reach the learner group to the degree of mastery in learning before moving on to learning another skill, since the two methods depend mainly on bilateral work between students to find out the impact of each Both of them in the learning process, and the importance of the research lies in the fact that it is an attempt by the researcher to find out which of the two methods is better (the masterful or the cooperative) in learning and mastering the skills of the front and back strokes in tennis for students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Baghdad. The research aimed to identify the impact of my style Proficient learning and cooperative learning in learning the skills of the forehand and backstroke in tennis, and getting to know the best method in learning The skill of the front and back stroke in tennis, and the researcher assumed that there are significant differences between the pre and post tests of the masterful and cooperative styles, in favor of the post tests in learning the skills of the front and back stroke in tennis, and that there are significant differences in the post tests between the mastery and cooperative learning styles in learning The front and backhand skills of tennis, in favor of the mastery style group, for the research sample, which was represented by third-stage students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad for the period from 20/03/2022 to 26/05/2022.
The experimental method was used on a sample of third-stage students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Baghdad for the academic year 2021-2022 AD, whose number is (30) students, with (15) students for the masterful method group and (15) students for the cooperative method group. The use and application of an approach to the mastery method and an approach to the collaborative method in learning the skills of the front and backstroke in tennis.
