Intellectual Property Rights
The Journal of Sport Sciences respects the intellectual property rights of authors and is committed to protecting their moral and scholarly rights in accordance with academic publishing standards and research ethics. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the submitted work is original, that they hold the scholarly rights to it, and that it has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another publication venue. Authors retain the moral right to be properly acknowledged as the creators of their work. The journal has the right to publish, archive, and make the accepted manuscript available in print and electronic formats through its official website, scientific archive, and approved indexing or database services. The manuscript may not be republished, translated, commercially used, or otherwise reused in a manner that violates the journal’s policy or the rights of the authors without proper acknowledgment of the original source and compliance with the journal’s approved licensing terms. Authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions when using any materials protected by third-party intellectual property rights, including tables, figures, images, scales, research instruments, or quoted text. Authors bear full responsibility for any unauthorized use, improper quotation, or infringement of the intellectual property rights of others. The journal seeks to promote access to scientific knowledge and encourages responsible academic use of published research, provided that the original source is properly cited. The journal reserves the right to take appropriate action in cases of proven intellectual property infringement or misuse of published content.
