      The scientific importance of this research comes in the fact that the study sample is still in the undergraduate level, which has a significant and influential role in determining their attitudes and academic aspirations, and therefore their exposure to psychological pressures at this early stage affects their psychological health and thus their motivation to learn, which affects their success. school, and the success of the educational process.

The research aims to: identify the degree of psychological stress for third-stage students in the subjects of volleyball and fencing in light of the Corona pandemic. And to identify the differences in the degree of psychological stress among third-stage students in light of the Corona pandemic, according to the variables (gender, subject).

   The researchers used the descriptive approach using the survey method and relationships on a sample of third-stage students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Diyala for the academic year 2021-2022. It amounted to (356) students as a sample for adapting the scale, and (120) students as an application sample.

    After processing the data and obtaining and interpreting the results, the two researchers reached the most important conclusions: The degree of psychological stress among male students was higher than the degree of female students in the third stage. The researchers recommend the following: The need to adopt a psychological stress scale to measure the degree of psychological stress among students of other academic stages. And used by researchers in their research and studies.
